Here We Go Again: June Update

How far along? 34 weeks, 4 days
Total weight gain/loss: +28 {Yep, another 5 pounds in 2 weeks. And that’s AFTER cutting out extra crap and upping my fruit & veggie intake. You know what that means? All the ice creams are belonging to ME!}
Stretch marks? For all you haters mad that I haven’t got any…you’ll be happy. I got a stretch mark right over where my belly-bottun ring used to be. Weird.
Maternity Clothes: With the nicer weather, I’ve been able to get away with a few non-maternity outfits.
Sleep: I go back and forth on this. Some nights are great, other nights, not so much. I got up FOUR TIMES one night to pee. Ridiculous, yo.
Best moment this month: Good question. Nothing that stands out, honestly. But nothing has been bad either, so that’s good, right!?
Movement: She’s still on a pretty steady movement schedule. My belly gets totally contorted at times. It’s so weird. But, still no footprints.
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: Braxton hicks contractions have started back up here and there.
Food Cravings: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? Outtie. Dude, someone told me my belly looks like a giant boob and my belly button is the nipple. And it’s cold out.
What I miss: Same as last time…Sleeping through the night. Bending over easily.
What I am looking forward to: Good question. I’m in the inbetween stage right now…I can’t believe we’re less than 6 weeks from my due date and feel nowhere near “ready” but at the same time, I can’t wait to meet our little girl. Craziness, I tell you.
Baby Milestones: Baby weighs close to 5 lbs now. She’ll continue to gain weight but is probably about as long {tall?} as she’ll be at birth.
Other Goodness: Well, we got her new car seat delivered last week. I found the changing pad covers {and a bunch of other stuff I forgot we had!}. Last night, Rylee kissed my belly and said “I love you cute little sister!” Then looked up to me and said “I hope I get to meet her soon.” I nearly died.

My next appointment is June 28 and the first of the pants off variety!

Rylee wanted to be in this week’s picture with Sister. {I love the way she says sister}

Rylee demonstrating for me the “on the hip” way to hold a baby!

And now the one-handed cradle hold. She’s practicing up!
