I cried again…

When I was pregnant with Rylee, I was so, so sure she was a boy. So imagine my shock {and sadly, disappointment} when we found out she was in fact a girl.

There were tears…big, ugly tears. What was I going to do with a…girl!?

Today we had our ultrasound for this little baby I’ve got growing inside of me.

And when we found out whether this baby is a boy or a girl, I cried again.

But, not out of shock and disappointment.

I cried tears of joy. And excitement.

Tears came when I thought about the future…how close these two will be.

My girls.

Sisters.

We’re having another girl and my heart is so full right now I think it might explode. You see, somewhere along the way, Rylee has taught me so much about love and that what we want, might not always be what we need, but what we need and what we have is in fact, perfect for us.

I cannot wait to tell Rylee tonight!

{And for the record I’m crying again}

Now I'm all sniffly too. Congrats Mama. I'm a mama to three girls and one boy and I cried when I found out we were having my son (and he was our third). What was I going to do with a BOY? Now he is here and 3 and absolutely lovely and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm bawling my eyes out, too! I'm so happy for you guys!!! (And I felt the same way when we found out we were having another boy – we'll have [a few, lol] brothers – and if they're as close as Jeff and John, we'll be set for life… Just like you and your sisters.)

Seriously, SO SO SO happy for you guys! CONGRATULATIONS my friend!

So excited! Rylee is going to love being a big sister and even better, when they are older, they will be best friends. Just like we are sister! There is nothing greater in the world than having sisters! So happy for you and the family.

Love you sister! For the record, I am a little teary-eyed too.

Sisters are so sweet. Before I had kids, I wanted one of each. But after having Brady, I really warmed up to the idea of having boys, brothers, and being the only girl in the house! Now, I have Cate and I realize why girls are so special to their mamas! Congrats lady!

To me, a woman without a sister who gave birth to sisters…well suffice to say now I’M crying too.
I’m so happy for them, I’m happy for you, I’m happy for Andy getting to walk TWO gorgeous brides down the aisle.
What beauty you’re adding to this world.
    Sisters. Colour me jealous.

Yay!! I love having two of the same gender. They will be great pals and hopefully you saved Ry's clothes. That will save tons of money too! hehe.
