Santa brought Rylee these foam bathtub letters. She loves bathtime. This particular night, Andy was giving Rylee her bath and I was cleaning up dinner dishes. All I could hear was crazy giggling coming from the bathroom and decided it was time to investigate. This is what I walked in to find. Of course, I had to get the camera! Since then, during bathtime, she tries to stick the letters on herself by herself. Of course she thinks she’s hilarious when a letter finally sticks! What a goof!

Rylee’s First Tractor Drive
We took advantage of a sunny afternoon to get some work done outside. We also took the opportunity to let Rylee take her first ride on the tractor! She was digging it. She loved turning the steering wheel and pulling down the knobs. I took these pictures while the tractor was just parked in the gravel. Later that day she actually rode on it with Andy…it took her a little while to warm up to it, but after a few minutes, she was helping Daddy move the firewood. In a few more years she should be able to reach the pedals and get to work!!

At Last…Christmas 2009
| Make a Smilebox slideshow |
Well, I was finally able to go through all of the Christmas photos. There were so many, I decided to share them with the slideshow. Rylee had a really great Christmas. It was different than we have ever had because the week before, Ry ended up with pnemonia. That was very scary and needless to say shifted our plans a bit. Instead of running around to see everyone, everyone came to see us. However, I wouldn’t trade it for anything, we had a great Christmas. Everyone was very flexible with the changing of their plans and thanks to my mom, we even had a turkey for dinner! I thought the running around was tiring…hosting everyone was exhausting!
Rylee was very cute. She loved opening the gifts, but didn’t go crazy. She would unwrap a gift, then instantly want to play with it. She wouldn’t open another gift unless we asked her if she was ready to. She’d shake her head yes, then repeat the whole process all over again.
Thanks to everyone who changed their plans around to accomdate us, we really appreciate it!
