Amazing What a Year Changes!

I was looking at some older posts the other day and saw one that I posted almost a year ago exactly. So, I figured I’d do a side-by-side comparison and see just what a year changes in a baby/toddler. In some ways Rylee is so different and grown up, but in so many other way, she is exactly the same. She still makes the same faces and expressions. She is amazing!

Fall means Football Season!

Auntie Kristen (surprise, surprise) surprised Rylee with a new Beaver T-shirt and hat! Trying to get Rylee to slow down to take a picture can be difficult, and yes, I did chase her into the bathroom to get this one! It’s a game for her. The other night, I was making dinner and caught her sitting on the love seat watching the game…she seemed to enjoy it, and as Andy put it, it’s practically educational; she can learn numbers and colors!

Happy Halloween-2009!

This Halloween, Rylee was a ladybug. Grammy bought her the costume back in September. Every Thursday after that, Rylee would wear the costume over at Grammy’s house! I ended up and had to work on Halloween, so Andy dressed Rylee up and to take Grandma Rice grocery shopping. Rylee ended up and got a KitKat bar at the gas station! Since I didn’t get to see her dressed up, before bed I put her back in her costume and tried to snap a few photos. She was not very cooperative, so I did what I could!

Pumpkin Carving

We had our 4th annual pumpkin carving party the weekend before Halloween. Brian and Katie made the trek over from Bend with little Connor. Greg and Haley and Julia and Spencer also made it. We had a great time, as usual. Instead of making the big adventure to the pumpkin patch, we went to Albertson’s to pick out our pumpkins. They did have a pretty good selection and a couple of hay bails for a photo op. We did feel a little silly taking pictures while people were walking by, but we had to! Rylee really enjoyed helping everyone throw away their pumpkin chunks…what a big helper she is! Make sure and take note of her super cute rubber boots…I love hand-me-downs.

A Nice Fall Afternoon

We found a fuzzy caterpillar and this is Rylee telling it to go back into the trees!

Partners in crime! They wanted to go to the back of the property.

Rylee loves bubbles so much, it’s one of the only words she says!

Heading straight for the soccer ball…like her Dad much?

Dante loves soccer too!

I worked a Boy Scout event for work one Saturday in October and had taken the nice work camera with me. I ended up just bringing it home with me after the event was over, so the next day, Rylee and I went outside to play. I followed her around with the camera and these were the shots I was able to get. A good camera makes such a difference when chasing around a 1 1/2 year old!
