For those of you that don’t know, I am in Chicago for Kelli’s birthday. Of course I am missing Rylee like crazy! I was looking at the photos Kelli has on her computer and came across these pictures Kelli took from her last trip out to Oregon. She was out last May for Rylee’s first birthday. I couldn’t help but post them!

Well, I was finally able to go through all of the Christmas photos. There were so many, I decided to share them with the slideshow. Rylee had a really great Christmas. It was different than we have ever had because the week before, Ry ended up with pnemonia. That was very scary and needless to say shifted our plans a bit. Instead of running around to see everyone, everyone came to see us. However, I wouldn’t trade it for anything, we had a great Christmas. Everyone was very flexible with the changing of their plans and thanks to my mom, we even had a turkey for dinner! I thought the running around was tiring…hosting everyone was exhausting!

Rylee was very cute. She loved opening the gifts, but didn’t go crazy. She would unwrap a gift, then instantly want to play with it. She wouldn’t open another gift unless we asked her if she was ready to. She’d shake her head yes, then repeat the whole process all over again.

Thanks to everyone who changed their plans around to accomdate us, we really appreciate it!

Not Rylee, but still blog-worthy.

Andy’s dad got a trailcam for Christmas. Within a couple of weeks he put it up on a tree in the back of our property. We pulled the camera last week and there are some of the shots we got. By the way…that’s not Dante, that’s a coyote!!

Rylee Loves Music!

“Phew…This is tiring stuff!”
“I think I can reach it….YES! There!”

“The perfect Piano Posture”

“Are you impressed?”

“This is SO FUN!” (The true personality of the “Monster”)

“I crack myself up”

“Poser” (yes, just like Mommy)

“Concentrating Hard”

“Finding Middle ‘C'”

These photos are back from September. We had dinner over at Grandad’s house one night when Auntie Kristen was in town. Rylee discovered Dad’s piano and now every time we go over there, she can’t leave without playing for a few minutes. Grammy also has a piano so she spends a lot of time playing over there as well. At home, we have a little keyboard that she likes to play too. Who knows…maybe there are piano lessons in her future…

Christmas 2008…

While organizing pictures to prep the Christmas 2009 post, I came across these pics.

I found a disc that my sister Kelli had sent quite a while ago from Christmas 2008. These are some of the pictures I found on it. Rylee has changed so much, but is still the same in so many ways! I especially love the Carhartt ones! Those are for you Gram Sharon!
